Why ancestral diets

Ancestral Diets do not mean to eat like your ancestors did. We are not only evolved physically, mentally, and spiritually, we are surrounded by a completely different environment. While it’s the truth that we have more diseases than ever in 2022, making food decisions based on what our ancestors used to eat and eliminating most of the food may not be the most appropriate answer for us.

What would our ancestors do if they were in our modern environment?

Nutrient dense, Micro nutrients

The foods they consumed, in addition to being fresh and unpreserved, on average had at least four times the mineral content of the foods most Americans were consuming at that time, and at least ten times the amount of vital, fat-soluble vitamins (especially retinol, or real vitamin A) due to their regular consumption of foods such as butter, fish eggs, shellfish and organ meats. (Today the mineral and fat-soluble vitamin content ratios would be even higher in comparison with the standard American diet some 90 years later, due to how devitalized our soil and food have become in the years.)
They were free of ingredients such as refined sugar, high fructose corn syrup, white flour, and pasteurized, homogenized milk. But still, it’s an inevitable fact that we have access to delicious meals and desserts and they’re very good.

Enjoy here and there while keeping your wellness as a core.

Wellness is not only built by diet and wellness requires holistic choices.
The most important thing to plant as a root to start caring about ourselves is our own unconditional love.

Body can finally perform its best when we feed it what it needs with love and yumminess.

There are millions of information out there, including what’s “bad” for us, what’s “good” for us, what’s “toxic” to our body, and vice versa.

While it’s an amazing era to be able to look up information on the internet and get hundreds of answers in a second, it requires us to have the skill to be able to evaluate what’s the most appropriate option for us in each stage of our lives.
Want to lose weight, want to gain weight, want to get stronger, etc.

The truth is, there is no one fits all answer. A person next to you might gorge on carbs and stay completely healthy, but that doesn’t mean that’s the answer for you. But, some things are clearly proven by science to be avoided, like, margarine, high fructose corn syrup, GMOs, etc.

While food is a way to feed our bodies, it's also a part of our pleasure and a tool to enrich our lives.

Eating healthy doesn’t mean giving up the comfort foods your mother or grandmother used you make for you. It’s not about “giving up” or “completely cutting out” but prioritizing and focusing on feeding and nourishing our bodies with wholesome food.
No matter where you are in your life, prioritizing your health with love will always be cruicial to your life.

We live with our bodies and our lives are run by our bodies.

A car won’t run no matter how hard you step on the gas if it’s not in a good condition. It’s needless to mention a person can’t function the best way possible if not in good health. 
The truth in 2022 is that we’re over-fed, under-nourished, and over-medicated. 

But we don’t want you to take this in a way to beat yourself up for any reason. We are here to empower you. We are here to help you start caring for yourself and being mindful of what you put into your body for your good.

We don’t have to pretend like we have control over our hunger, food cravings, etc. But we can be in charge.
